About St. Ann's:

St. Ann's provides transitional housing and supportive services to at-risk children, youth and families in the Metropolitan Washington area who are affected by abuse, neglect, teen pregnancy and homelessness. The home has provided a refuge for needy women and children in the Washington, DC area since 1860.

How Volunteers Help:

CUA students spend time playing with the children who live at St. Ann's.  Activities include playing outside, playing cards, reading, coloring, and having fun!

Volunteers may go however many times they want, there is no requirement to go both days.  There are also special events throughout the year, which are listed below.

Meet in the Campus Ministry Office at 5:45pm

St. Ann's Orientation & Info Night

We are in the process of scheduling a second Orientation night with Sr. Kate - please check back for details. At Orientation, we discuss what volunteers do, how you can help the kids, and what kind of paperwork is involved.
