About MLK Day of Service
MLK Day of Service is a way to transform Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s life and teachings into actions that strengthen communities, empower individuals, bridge barriers, and create solutions.
Each year, Catholic University honors the life & legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by participating in this national day of service. By working with several community partners, CUA hopes to serve and respond to the needs of our community.
DATE: Monday, January 16, 2017
LOCATION: Pryzbyla Great Rooms
TIME: Once you have registered and been placed, you will be given a specific time for meeting. There will be multiple deployments of groups during the day.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: A photo ID, reusable water bottle, warm clothes and layers (that you don't mind getting dirty), close-toed shoes

Make it a day on, not a day off!
GROUPS: Fill out the individual registration form and write group name under "group affiliation" section. All those listed with the same group affiliation will be placed at the same site.
Families and children are encouraged to participate!
**You will be contacted before the day of service with specific information as to what time to meet, what to bring, what to wear, etc.
