About Habitat

The Habitat for Humanity chapter of the Catholic University of America was founded in 1997. The mission of this organization is to involve students in Habitat for Humanity International. This means that students will have the opportunity to be involved in bringing simple, decent housing to members of the DC and this nation's community through several programs and activities provided by the university chapter!

Our chapter grown rapidly since it was founded, with 1 day trip per month, an annual fall retreat, and 4 Collegiate Challenge Spring Break trips. We serve in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area for day trips, and across the country for retreat and spring break!

 Our Mission

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope!
